The water level is gradually rising at the Ladycroft Ford, Alresford

The River Itchen is gradually rising. The fields between here and Cheriton are flooded. Its best to approach the Tichborne Arms from the Cheriton end of the Tichborne Road. At least 100m of the road is now below the level of the river at the Alresford end. Note the Tichborne Arms is open and cosy.
